Directions

Mammut is located at the crossroads of three Buda districts, just next to central Buda’s busiest squares, Moszkva tér and Széna tér.

Coming from Pest, you can reach us on the No. 2 metro line or the No. 4 and 6 trams; from the Buda Castle, it is an easy walk or a short bus ride to Mammut.

It is accessible by car in various ways. From the Buda districts, take Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor, or Krisztina körút from the railway station Déli pályaudvar. Mammut can be reached most easily from Árpád híd by driving along Árpád Fejedelem útja, then Margit körút.

New parking system

Renovation of Mammut’s car park was completed in May, ending several months’ inconvenience due to construction work. Thanks to this new, first-class system, visitors will now be able to park easily and comfortably in the shopping centre.

With the installation of the new system, visitors will have an easier time finding empty spaces among the available 1,200. Red and green lights direct visitors – a red light shows an occupied parking space, whereas a green one indicates a vacant spot. But this is not the only thing that’s new. Instead of paying at booths at the exit, visitors will now use machines to pay for and validate their parking ticket before leaving. The seventeen machines will make payment quick and easy. They now accept notes as well as coins. Monthly and half-yearly passes are also available. Passes are designed primarily for those working in the area, who drive to work every day. The pass gives them unlimited access to the car park. They may exit and re-enter as many times as they wish each day.

Parking charges:

  • The parking charge is 200 HUF per hour.

Visitors take their parking tickets from machines as they drive in. Machines for payment are located at the shopping centre exits to the car parks, as well as in the car parks themselves. Please make sure you hold on to your parking ticket until leaving. Those requiring a VAT receipt, or those whose parking ticket was damaged, please contact the Park – Sec office in Mammut I. (Lövőház Street); phone: +36 1 345-8060, +36 20 914-1000.

The car park is open:

Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day
